Yoga dictionary. Vritti

More often than not, the mind is either in a state of experiencing the past or planning for the future. This forces a person to experience many times again the suffering already experienced in the past, or to worry about their future. All these actions of the mind are due to its fluctuation. The Yoga sutras of Patanjali deal with the concept of Vritti.

Translated from Sanskrit “Vritti” means ‘excitement’, ‘hesitation’. A comparison may be made with a pond whose water is at rest. And in this case, it reflects the Moon. By the Moon one can understand objective reality, which, provided the mind is calm, is reflected in it without distortion. When the water begins to be affected by the wind, it begins to fluctuate, and the reflection of the moon becomes distorted. Now, at the end of the lunar cycle – it is especially good to do various purification practices – both for the body and for consciousness.
We share with you a very deep (despite seeming simplicity) meditation to clear karmic “baggage”. This practice was revealed to Olga Potemkina – Reiki master, author of the book “Reiki – a miracle of touch.” www.reiki.ee
It is good to practice this meditation in “courses,” that is, every day, a week, two … more 🙂 The effect will not take long. Firstly, you will feel that some subtle movement begins to occur around you – people from the past can come in a dream or meet suddenly in the city or even make calls. There may be, in general, strange dreams – this is normal – the effect of cleansing the deep layers of consciousness. and most importantly, you will feel much more warmth, freedom in your soul. Even (!) If, at first, the text of meditation does not turn into a sincere emotion of forgiveness. It is enough that you will pronounce the text to yourself and do the practice regularly.
